This song came to me all at once and represents, for me, a turning point in the Year-of-EPs project. I had been struggling with a song on this EP, one that I had been writing and re-writing for years. In the midst of that struggle, this song came to me and I turned on my camera and wrote the whole thing in as many minutes as it took to play it twice through. From there on, the writing aspect of the Y-o-E stopped being such a struggle and songs just flowed from me.
